The City of Rolling Meadows has launched a new online platform for inspections, business and rental licenses, and zoning requests! Online permitting coming soon!

New Online Processes

You can apply for business licenses, rental licenses, building permits, and zoning requests (special uses, variations etc.), all in one place. You can also view the progress of your applications, make modifications, and print your own license from the online portal. 

To register your account, click the link above and add your details. 

If you have any problems, please call Community Development at 847-506-6030. 

Instructions:

  • Click “Login or Register”
  • Enter a valid email address, and either set a new password, or enter your existing password.
  • Enter your validation code that was sent to that email address.
  • Click “Apply” on the toolbar to apply for a permit, or “Pay Invoices” to pay any outstanding invoices.
  • You can select what type of permit you are applying for by scrolling through the permit list, or searching using the search bar.
  • For applications, you can add your address to your application by using the address search function.
