Contractor Licenses
License Requirements
Even if a permit is not required for the work being performed, all contractors working within the City are required to be licensed. In addition, all contractors with the exception of state licensed plumbers and roofers must also provide proof of insurance.

Contractor licenses are valid for 1 year from the date they are purchased but renewal notices are not mailed to the licensee. A contractor is required to have a current, valid license, and a certificate of insurance before we can issue a permit for their work. Some types of work will also require a bond.
