The work to be performed consists of HMA pavement removal, full depth pavement reclamation and stabilization, aggregate base repair, HMA binder, HMA surface course, curb and gutter removal and replacement, sidewalk removal and replacement, driveway removal and replacement, drainage improvements and parkway restoration.

Access Restrictions: If access to your driveway will be restricted due to curb and/or sidewalk replacement, you will receive notification specific to that operation, including on-street overnight parking permits. Access to your driveway may be restricted for up to 7 days to allow for sufficient concrete strength gain. Please notify Rolling Meadows Public Works with circumstances that may require special accommodations.
Final surface layer of asphalt was paved on September 22, 2020. Remaining work to be completed is pavement striping and signage removal and replacement.
Please be alert for construction personnel, equipment, and traffic.
NOTE: Mowing of restored parkways should be avoided until grass has reached a height of 4-5”. Straw blanket should remain in place until full grass establishment. Straw blanket will biodegrade naturally. Residents are encouraged to water parkways to promote healthy growth of seeded grass.
