This project is the third and final phase of the Arbor Drive watermain replacement project. This project, when completed, will replace the remaining 1,634 feet of old cast iron watermain in the complex. All customers will be notified well in advance of any water service interruptions.
Work will begin on the southwest corner of the Arbor Dr. property and work north to the curve in front of the 4704 Building. All affected residents in Rolling Meadows and Schaumburg will be notified of traffic and or parking interruptions.
Anticipated Hours of Work: M-F: 7am to 6 pm
Work This Week:
This week the City’s contractor, Mauro Construction, continued construction of water for building services for the Preserve at Woodfield and began testing the new water main.
Work Next Week:
Beginning Monday, April 19th, the new water main will be disinfected as a standard measure prior to being placed into service. The public is encouraged to take advantage of the Arbor Drive loop that offers alternative routes to avoid the construction zone. The public should also take note of the “Road Closed to Thru Traffic” signs posted along the work.
