[ARCHIVED] IRS-ITUNES CARD SCAM

Do not fall for the IRS ITunes card scam. We put a link to the IRS website on our Facebook Page at www.facebook.com/rollingmeadowspolice for more information.
In essence, IRS impersonators are demanding payments on iTunes and other gift cards. The IRS reminds individuals that requesting to settle a tax bill by putting money on any form of gift card is a clear indication of a scam. Please do not fall for this. Do not engage in conversation and immediately hang up. If it is a voice mail. DO NOT CALL BACK. Keep your hard earned money and do not give it to a scammer.
