Why do I see police cars in a parking lot next to each other, seems like most of the time?
Chances are when you see this activity occurring there are several possible reasons. it is usually the officers talking to each other about information that they received in a roll call setting or the officers just completed a call and they are both debriefing each other on the incident that they just completed. The officers may also be completing their reports prior to it being reviewed by a supervisor, and sometimes they are just keeping each other company on a break before they start patrolling again. Most of the time it is for the reasons that were just cited above.
