  • Back yard fire pits and recreational fires are permitted; however, following requirements are to be met: The fireplace or fire pit is to be no larger than 3 feet in diameter and 2 feet in height. The recreational fire is to be 25 feet away from any structure or combustible material. Leaves, rubbish, and construction materials are not to be burned. The fire is to be constantly attended until extinguished. The smoke is not to create a nuisance. (IFC 2009 Chapter 3)

With a Residential KNOX-BOX installed, emergency responders can respond quickly, without forcing entry. They simply remove your entrance key stored inside, provide medical assistance and re-lock your door when they leave. Come to Station 16 at 2455 Plum Grove Road to fill out a user agreement. Cost is $200 which is refundable upon return of box to department headquarters. Only accept payment by check or cash. Bring spare house key.

  • MEDICAL RECORDS/Patient Care Reports and Ambulance Bills

    Patients transported to the hospital by a Rolling Meadows Ambulance can request their Medical Records from the Rolling Meadows Fire Department by submitting a request in writing to FD@cityrm.org.

    NFIRS REPORTS/Fire Incident Reports

    A request for a Rolling Meadows fire incident report must be made in writing by sending the request to FD@cityrm.org.

  • In an effort to streamline the inspection process, The Rolling Meadows Fire Department has registered with InspectionReportsOnline (IROL). IROL is a Web-based Inspection Report Management System. IROL will allow our Fire Department to receive and manage required system inspection reports submitted, electronically, by any Service Provider through one secure and centralized location. There is no cost to property owners, property managers, business owners to register or access the site. If your property/business receives any of the following required inspections in our Jurisdiction, we are requiring you register as a Property Owner (PO): Additionally if you could provide a copy of this letter to any business / occupant within your property that has any of the listed below systems, that are separate from the main property. Fire Alarm Inspections Sprinkler Systems (wet, dry, or pre-action systems) Engineered and Pre-Engineered Systems Fire Pump Tests Testing of Fire and Smoke Doors Hood and Duct Systems Back Flow Device In order to Register: 1. Visit www.InspectionReportsOnline.net and click on the green “Property Owner” box 2. Register as a Property Owner (PO). Click on the “Select 30 day trial” box. You are not being charged to use this site but "dummy" credit card information is required. Call IROL to obtain this information. 3. Please register all buildings you own, manage, and/or do business in that have any of the above required inspections. Each building shall be registered individually. After you have registered and are activated, you will receive a Property Owner Identification Number (PO ID). This ID will allow our department to receive and submit reports to you. In addition, the ID can allow your Service Companies to submit reports. If you have any questions on our new process, please feel free to contact us.   • In an effort to streamline the inspection process our Jurisdiction has registered with InspectionReportsOnline (IROL). IROL is a Web-based Inspection Report Management System for Authorities Having Jurisdiction, Service Providers, and Commercial Property Owners. IROL allows our Jurisdiction to receive and manage required system inspection reports submitted, electronically, by Service Providers through one secure and centralized web location. Utilizing this system will increase our record retention challenges, assist in deficiency follow through, and reduce/eliminate many of the issues and costs associated with the inspection process. If your Company provides any of the following required inspections to our Jurisdiction, we are requiring you register as a Service Provider (SP): Fire Alarm Inspections ? Our AHJ Identification Number is: (ILA11227). This ID can also be found on your SP Dashboard once activated. If you have any questions on our new process, please feel free to contact us.
