Project Information

The Sanitary and Storm Sewer Rehabilitation Pipe Lining Project is essential to utility operations and enables the City to meet the minimum mandated requirements established by the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District (MWRD) for infiltration. Pipelining allows a pipe liner to be inserted into the sewer pipe and expanded and hardened in place to create a new pipe within the existing pipe. This process seals any infiltrations as well as enhances the longevity of the pipe without having to create unsightly excavations within the right-of-way.

Weekly Project Updates:

 Contract has been awarded to Hoerr Construction Inc. Pre televising will take place in starting 2nd week in July. Materials will we be ordered and installation start date should be September 2nd.

Start date from contractor is October 23rd and should be completed in 2 weeks on the 31st.
